The 100 hour Third Sector Placement Scheme is funded by a Sheffield alumnus who is especially keen to help today’s students get involved and gain insight into the Third Sector. In particular, students who may have faced barriers to building up their community voluntary experience whilst at university.
"Without a doubt, applying for this scheme could be one of the most beneficial things you ever do; for your career, for your confidence, and for yourself." (Placement student with SCCCC, 2018)
“Go for it. This scheme opens up so many doors and interesting opportunities. It really adds a new dimension to your time in Sheffield.” (Placement student with SYHA, 2018)
