What skills do I need?
No previous experience necessary, just a passion for tackling racism, an open mind and enthusiasm for working with young people.
Volunteers will work as a teams to facilitate workshops (1hr), including leading small group discussions.
Full training and ongoing support provided.
What will I gain?
Experience working with young people and facilitating workshops.
Training and support
Dates to be confirmed for a training session. The project leaders will be in touch with volunteers once the sessions has been booked.
Minimum one workshop (approx 2hrs including travel). Dates TBC but will be scheduled according to volunteer availability.
DBS (criminal records) check
TBC - either on campus or in local schools
Travel time depends on school location if off campus (volunteers will travel in a group either by public transport or taxi from the SU).
