Children's Safety Volunteer 2018/19

This opportunity takes place between 31 Oct 2018 and 31 Aug 2019.

Volunteers will support delivery of a short series of one off educational sessions around Sheffield teaching children about road safety. Aimed at children aged 5-11, these sessions will provide volunteers the opportunity to develop a variety of transferable skills and to have fun.

What skills do I need?

Enthusiasm, Communication, Patience.

What will I gain?

Experience working with primary aged children, Behaviour management, Develop communication skills

Training and support

A volunteer induction and training session will be provided. Constructive feedback can be given if requested.

Time commitment

Mandatory training session - 3 hours, Monday 19th November Delivery sessions - 5 x 2 hours, Tuesday 20th November 3.45pm - 5.45pm
