Film Makers 2019

This opportunity takes place between 15 Apr 2019 and 31 Jul 2019. Applications closed on 15 Mar.

Filming selected costume development workshops, filming launch event and carnival event including main stage, parade and other activity areas. Working to the direction of the carnival team, producing a 10/15-minute promotional video of Sheffield Carnival 2019. Working with the Marketing Manager loading live footage of the event on media channels.

What skills do I need?

Track record of creating films for online audience, knowledge of online video trends and popular social media channels (Vimeo, You Tube, etc). Interest in cultural arts, experience of filming on location, creative and ideas driven, strong attention to detail, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Good written and verbal communication skills, flexible, adaptable with the ability to work to deadlines

What will I gain?

You will gain real world experience assisting a charitable non profit organisation provide activities for children and families and helping to support your local community. Boosting your CV with a reference of the support you have given and the opportunity to develop your skills and meet new people.

You will receive support and guidance from the Directors, Marketing Manager and Production Manager
