Sheffield Volunteering run project for children aged 8-15 years who are on the autistic spectrum, and their siblings.

Computer Club Volunteer 2018/19

This opportunity takes place between 17 Sep 2018 and 19 May 2019.

The project is for children aged 8-15 on the Autistic Spectrum and their siblings. The children do activities on computers and volunteers give them one to one support.

What skills do I need?

No computing skills needed just empathy and lots of patience.

What will I gain?

Experience working with children on the Autistic spectrum. Volunteers will receive free training on safeguarding, working with children on the Autistic spectrum and behaviour management.

Training and support

Volunteers must attend training Saturday 9th February and complete online safeguarding training.

Time commitment

The club runs every Saturday in term time from 9am- 12.15 pm. Volunteers are expected to come every other week.
