Age UK Sheffield Fundraiser 2020/21

This opportunity takes place until 31 Aug 2021.

Could you do a sponsored walk? Run a pub quiz? A football match? An office bake sale? Help out at a festival? Host a coffee morning? As a Volunteer Fundraiser you'll play a vital role in ensuring vulnerable, older people across Sheffield have the support they need when they need it most. Bring us your ideas and we will help you realise them! All activities must follow current Covid-19 guidelines.

At Age UK Sheffield fundraising is a brilliant way to support us, why not do it? We can promote the fundraising you are doing on our social media pages which both raises our profile as a local and national charity and hopefully brings in more much needed funds.

All activities must follow current Covid-19 guidelines.

What skills do I need?

You don't need any specific skills but enthusiasm is always useful!

What will I gain?

You will gain the experience of running or helping to run a fundraising event. You could make new friends/contacts. You'll hopefully have lots of fun and depending on the event develop useful skills. These kind of activities are great for building confidence and always look good on a CV!

Training and support

We will give you adequate training for the role and as much support as we can to ensure the activities are as enjoyable, safe and successful as possible.

Time commitment

This depends on the event. It could be as little as one hour or it could be a regular event.
