TimeBuilders Volunteer 2018/19

This opportunity takes place between 05 Sep 2018 and 31 Aug 2019.

Our main Projects are: Growing: grow vegetables in under-used city spaces. Making: run a communal workshop to reuse and up-cycle. Nourishing: prepare meals for anyone at risk of hunger with food that would otherwise be wasted. Learning:run informal English conversation classes. Connecting:run social groups.

What skills do I need?

No specific skills needed for most roles. Some roles will require teamwork and interpersonal skills. Some leadership roles need leadership skills and decision making. Specific skills are woodwork, cooking, gardening but these could also be learnt.

What will I gain?

TimeCredits - each hour you give you receive a Timecredit which can be spent on something fun, a meal in the community cafe, a day trip, a ticket to the theatre or football match.

Training and support

Induction Coaching is the way we support volunteers through an introduction course, conversation, 1:1 sessions, peer support groups. Workshops
