TimeBuilders are looking for leaders or facilitators. People who are up for a challenge and want to make a difference in the community. To develop, organise and lead a community focused activity.
What skills do I need?
Interest and willingness to organise and plan projects from conception to end, planning and facilitating all associated activities. Ability and willingness to work alongside, support and mentor people from a diverse range of backgrounds and socially excluded groups to deliver the project.
What will I gain?
Contributing to the continuing success of a movement which is committed to abolishing waste and promoting opportunities for people from all walks of life. Developing transferable skills and enhancing your CV. Gaining a positive reference based on good performance. Earning TimeCredits which can be used on meals in café, theatre or football tickets, social events, exercise classes etc.
Training and support
Integrated training. Meetings with staff for mentoring and advice. Opportunity to join the TimeBuilders Coaching Programme which offers support for volunteers through 1:1 coaching sessions, an intro to coaching course and peer support groups.
Time commitment
Fortnightly. Flexible. Depends on project idea. Many projects take place during the day time in the week.
