Come and be part of our fun and friendly Eventeers (Event Volunteers) team; help our runners have a fantastic experience at the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 29th March and the Sheffield 10K on Sunday 27th September and help support countless of good causes.
Our events simply could not happen without our Eventeers so, whether you are encouraging participants out on course as route marshal, manning a drink station whilst helping to refuel runners or offering support in the event village, you can be certain you’ll make a difference!
The impact of what you do is felt far beyond the start line on race day and we know so many will be grateful of your support and words of encouragement along the way.

What skills do I need?
If you’re friendly, confident and willing to get stuck in, we want to hear from you! It’s ideal if you live in or near the local area of your chosen events, but if you’d like to go further afield then just get in touch.
What will I gain?
You'll gain experience of being involved at some of the UK's biggest not-for-profit mass participation running event and supporting a national and local charities. You'll meet new people, improve your communication skills and build your confidence and be part of a fantastic day.
Training and support
You'll get a full briefing before event day and support from staff on event day.
You'll need to be available for your chosen event days, which are typically on Sundays from early morning to early afternoon.
DBS (criminal records) check
The Sheffield events will take place in central Sheffield, however there are events all over the UK
