Centre Administrative Worker 2019/20

This opportunity takes place between 14 Sep 2019 and 31 Aug 2020.

To undertake and provide a wide range of clerical / administrative support services for the Centre and services

What skills do I need?

Computer skills including both English and Chinese Translation skills and interpretation (From English into Chinese and vise versa)

What will I gain?

Working experience at a community setting, better profile for CV, increase self confidence and skills including communication, computer, problem solving and creativity. Meeting new friends and Chinese members at the Centre

Training and support

Guidance and support will be given by the Centre Manager and Project staff at the Sheffield Chinese Community Centre

Clubbing Crew project is for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and aims to improve the social interaction opportunities for the participating adults. The Guildford Grange project combats loneliness and creates friendship through arts, crafts and games for older people in a local residential home. Training is Tuesday 22nd October 6pm. Sign up in the Volunteering Office

As a Computer Club volunteer you will provide one-to-one support to children and their siblings. Gain teaching experience and lots of skills! Training Saturday 26th October or 9th November. Sign up in the Volunteering Office
