We are a startup community library with ambitions of creating an environment which is unique and authentic to any library the U.K has ever seen.
In order to achieve this, we are looking for proactive candidates who value autonomy and leadership.
We expect our volunteers to thrive by using their initiative and being resourceful. We give all volunteers the freedom to share ideas and contribute towards the direction of our library as we value the people who are the frontline of the service.
We offer full training (so no previous experience is needed) and we support each volunteer to ensure they gain a return on investment of their time.
You can choose shifts according to your availability so its flexible and can fit around your other commitments.

Training and support
You will be given full training on every software which you use
You will be supervised throughout your volunteering experience
You will be offered to go training courses throughout the year
You will be assigned a mentor to help you fulfil your potential
You will be given induction training to get you up to speed
1-2 hours per week we are very flexible you can do work on site or off site for your own suitability
