Give Volunteering A Go! An events programme of one-off activities for you to get involved in your city. At each taster session you can try something new, see more of the city and gain new skills.

This opportunity takes place on 05 Jun 2022

Regather are a community group, dedicated to growing organic healthy produce (fruits and vegetables) on their Community Garden. Last year they grew lots of courgettes and beans, and this year they are hoping to grow even more! At this session you will join the community group, tidy up the area and start planting in the ground. One-off session on Sunday 5th June 10am - 1pm. You can just attend this session, but if you like it, sessions will continue throughout the summer (Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings)

What skills do I need?

No experience required. If you have gardening gloves please bring and where them

What will I gain?

Join a local community group Learn about growing vegetables and fruits

Training and support

You will be told what to do and how to do tasks

Time commitment

One-off session on Sunday 5th June 10am - 1pm. You can just attend this session, but if you like it, sessions will continue throughout the summer (Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings) - chat to the supervisor at the session to sign up to the mailing list
