Give Volunteering A Go! An events programme of one-off activities for you to get involved in your city. At each taster session you can try something new, see more of the city and gain new skills.

*Exam time* Common Ground Community Garden

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Common Ground is a charity, community green space and hall run by local volunteers. It's a vibrant place that creates a sense of community and enables local people to come together for a variety of fun activities and events. At this Community Garden session, you will get green-fingered with the super friendly gardening group and help maintain the grounds! All you need to do is turn up and get stuck in. Grow vegetables, tend the flower beds and much more. All the equipment is provided and no expertise is required. One-off (or more!) Sessions on Saturday 21st May, Saturday 28th May 10.30am - 12.30pm.

If you cannot attend these dates, the gardening group meets most Saturday mornings - you can get in touch with them directly to organise your volunteering there. See their website and Facebook for information.
