Volunteer Fundraising and Awareness Committee Member

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Assisting with fund raising and awareness events within Sheffield for The Cathedral Archer Project which helps the homeless and vulnerably housed. The Project provides a wide range of services to its clients inc. hot meal, dentistry treatment, educational opportunities and access to computers.

What skills do I need?

Empathy, enthusiasm, inventiveness and willingness to help others.

What will I gain?

A knowledge of how homeless and vulnerably housed people live and can be helped and volunteer satisfaction in helping others who are less fortunate than themselves. Skills to transfer to other volunteering and caring roles.

Training and support

Anyone joining the committee would have The Projects support and full instructions will be provided for any event that volunteers are assisting at. Volunteers would hopefully attend committee meetings where discussions take place for furthering ideas to assist The Project and are always supervised by the committee chair.

Time commitment

No fixed time commitment. Whatever the volunteer feels they have the spare time to assist with.
