Give Volunteering A Go! An events programme of one-off activities for you to get involved in your city. At each taster session you can try something new, see more of the city and gain new skills.

Meet The Charity Panel Talk (Online)

This opportunity takes place on 30 Nov 2021

As part of the Winter Wellbeing Week, we are encouraging you to Get Out Into The Community. At this online Panel Talk you will hear from a selection of local charities who are working hard for some key themes in our city, find out how you can get involved and have the chance to ask any questions you have about the issues to our guest charities. Tuesday 30th November, 2pm - 3pm, Online (A Google Meets Event link will be sent to you when you register your interest, please join using your University email account.)

The following local charities will be representing the themes they work towards:

Homelessness - Roundabout

Refugees and Asylum Seekers - Learn for Life

Mental Health and Wellbeing (includes Loneliness & Social Isolation) -  b:friend

Digital Inclusion - Heeley Trust

Food Insecurity - Burngreave Foodbank

Sustainability (includes Zero Waste, Wildlife & Nature and Environment) - Food Works
