Roundabout is a youth homeless charity, based in Sheffield. We work with vulnerable young people aged 16-24.

Event Volunteer for The Musical Theatre Drive-In 2021

We are looking for a team of fantastic volunteers to help us on the day with the running of first ever charity Musical Theatre Drive In! This weekend!

Our Musical Theatre Drive-In will take place on Saturday 12th June at Meadowhall, Orange Carpark.

We will have four shows throughout the day of wonderful local performers showcasing some of the top hits from the West End.

Event volunteers are essential to the running of every aspect of The Musical Theatre Drive-In event, while pre- and post-event volunteers also provide vital support on the day to our Fundraisers and event attendees.

We welcome volunteer applications from people of all backgrounds. We will be looking for support from traffic management, ticket checking, stewarding and more! The role will be ad-hoc throughout the event and you may get to volunteer in different roles on the day.

What skills do I need?

No specific skills required! A positive attitude and a willingness to get involved are all that we need! Great communication skills are a bonus and a confidence to speak to people too We will supply you with a full brief and full support at the event.

What will I gain?

You will gain the experience of supporting a local fundraising event and charity as well as getting some great volunteering experience. You could make new friends/contacts in the industry. You'll hopefully have lots of fun, get to see the show and develop useful skills. We hope our event will help you to building your confidence and volunteering at our event will look great on your CV!

Training and support

We will provide a full brief prior to the event and you will be supported in your volunteering role on the day. All volunteers will be provided with a snack pack.

Time commitment

We are asking for a commitment of approx. 3 hours per show, with an hour before the show and 30 minutes afterwards. Please let us know what time(s) you would like to volunteer for. Show times: 10am / 1pm / 4pm / 7pm
