100 hour Third Sector Placement Student 2021

This opportunity takes place until 31 May 2021. Applications closed on 14 Jan.

High quality, fully funded 100 hour placements for current undergraduate University of Sheffield students with local charitable organisations in February - May 2021! There are 16 fantastic placements on offer. All placements are with Sheffield charitable organisations, but not necessarily in person. Please check the individual role descriptions. See below links to the individual role descriptions. In each role description there is a link to a google application form. To apply, please fill out the relevant google application form for your chosen placement, referring to the role-specific role description. Deadline for Google application form submissions is Wednesday 13th January 2021, 11pm.

Following the success of the 100 hour Third Sector Placement scheme over the Summer, we will be running the scheme again February - May 2021!

You can apply to more than one role, but you must complete separate applications and make sure you answer the questions according to the specific role. Please note that a student will not be offered more than one role in 2021.

This is a paid role and the 100 hours will be completed 22nd February - 21st May 2021. The pay rate is £9 per hour plus holiday pay. Placement students will be employed by and therefore paid by Sheffield Students' Union.

Training and support

Provided by host charity - see individual role description Sheffield Volunteering staff will host a virtual induction in w/c 15th February for all chosen placement students

Time commitment
