This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Introduce primary school pupils to the topic of Bioengineering, teaching them about the different streams and giving them an insight into student life. For this semester, these sessions will take place virtually.

What skills do I need?

This project is suitable for any student studying Bioengineering. No experience is required and all training is provided. Volunteers should be enthusiastic about working with young children and have good communication skills.

What will I gain?

Experience of working with children in an educational setting, the chance to develop your skills in teamwork and communication, meet like-minded people.

Various schools across Sheffield. For semester one, these sessions will be delivered digitally.

Travel information

In semester one, all sessions will be delivered remotely. For any future in-person sessions, travel expenses will be reimbursed by Sheffield Volunteering (agreed beforehand).
