The Library Of Life is an independent popup library service which predominately shelves literary works of Black British authors who celebrate the African Diaspora.

Website Administrator 2020/21

This opportunity takes place between 17 Apr 2020 and 19 Apr 2021.

This role is all about assisting us in developing and managing our website The role includes improving our website functionality, aesthetics and visibility. You decide which layout works best for our website, what themes work best, what effects work best and how user-friendly our website is for browsers.

This role is currently remote - PC and internet connection required

What skills do I need?

You will need an interest in learning how to use Wordpress. You will need good organisational skills to manage the activities You will need patience to understand how our systems work You will need to be proactive and use your initiative You will need a can do attitude and willingness to learn new things An eye for detail

What will I gain?

You will gain real experience working for a fast-paced social enterprise You will learn how to use all of the different software which we use You will receive full training on WordPress

Training and support

You will be given full training on every software which you use You will be supervised throughout your volunteering experience You will be assigned a mentor to help you fulfil your potential You will be given induction training to get you up to speed
