Help the Donkeys at Mr Barnes' Farm - GIAG

This opportunity takes place until 14 Dec 2019.

Saturday 14th December, 8.30am - 3.30pm The donkeys at Mr Barnes' Farm are getting ready for their Christmas nativity - their paddock needs resurfacing and they need a manger for their food! The tasks include: raking and shovelling the old sand back into place as a base layer, some simple DIY woodwork, making a manger for the donkey food, and finally dumping and raking out the new bark layer to make the paddock comfortable. There will be heavy lifting, volunteers should not be afraid of animals, and if someone has woodworking and power tools experience that would be great! Full day out with an hour for lunch and to look around the farm.
