The Good Neighbour Scheme Volunteer 2020/21

This opportunity takes place between 11 Sep 2019 and 31 Aug 2021.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference to the lives of older people in our communities. Friendly Visiting involves volunteers visiting an elderly person on a regular basis and having a chat and a cup of tea and providing some welcome social contact. Please note: due to current restrictions, this role is currently remote and befriending is done over the telephone. In the future when restrictions lift, you may be able to meet up with the older person you are matched with, if you wish.

This role will be done remotely via telephone at the moment.

What skills do I need?
