The Library Of Life is an independent popup library service which predominately shelves literary works of Black British authors who celebrate the African Diaspora.

Social Media Executive 2020/21

This opportunity takes place until 31 Aug 2021.

This role is all about showcasing the great work which we do to our audience and potential audiences. The role includes increasing our visibility online. Deciding what pictures would make great content to post, posting content, getting our audience to interact with us and helping us build an audience.

This role is currently remote - PC and internet connection required

What skills do I need?

You will need the ability to create interesting and unique content in order to increase engagement, reach and conversion rates through our social media channels, in particular Facebook and Instagram, using organic and paid for methods. Have a good understanding of social media trends and platform capabilities, in particular on Facebook and Instagram. Create written content and visual designs for email marketing activity. Create relevant and engaging content for online editorials, blogs, features and press releases.

You will be given full training on every software which you use You will be supervised throughout your volunteering experience You will be offered to go training courses throughout the year You will be assigned a mentor to help you fulfil your potential You will be given induction training to get you up to speed
