We support mums who have left emotionally abusive relationships to rebuild their lives and navigate family courts.

Policy Writer 2018/19

This opportunity takes place until 31 Aug 2019.

We're looking for a volunteer to update our existing policies and write any additional policies we require.

What skills do I need?

The primary skill required for this role is the ability to write to a high standard. In addition, an ability to compose and edit is required. We need simple, clear policies that are easily understood by our staff and volunteers. You would need to ensure that all policies are in line with the aims of Mums In Need and Charity Commison guidelines. Volunteers can complete this work at home and can also share this role with another volunteer.

What will I gain?

Training and support

Training and support will be provided as required. A full induction process is undertaken and three monthly reviews are completed with all our volunteers.
