Get Active. Do Good. Have Fun! Take advantage of your Summer break and get involved in the local Sheffield community with our summer programme of volunteering and community engagement. There are lots of activities to take part in - all for a good cause!

Event Volunteer - Theo's Obstacle 5K

This opportunity takes place until 13 Jul 2019.

The Children's Hospital Charity are hosting their annual fun teddy bear themed event - Theo's Obstacle 5K on Saturday 13th July 2019! Volunteers will marshal the route, help out at some of the obstacles and get involved in the fun! Volunteers will also be needed at the finish line handing out medals and goody bags.

What skills do I need?

No skills required, just enthusiasm and willingness to help out!

What will I gain?

Be part of a brilliant fundraising event! Help to raise money for a local charity

All guidance and support provided by The Children's Hospital Charity staff. Briefing session on Tuesday 9th July 5.30pm - 6pm at the TCHC offices, 4 Marlborough Road, Sheffield, S10 1DB.

Join the Clubbing Crew!

Clubbing Crew project is for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and aims to improve the social interaction opportunities for the participating adults. Volunteers provide support so everyone enjoys a fun night out that they may not usually experience. Training Monday 21st Oct (6-8pm). Sign up in the Office

 
Volunteer with Older People, Guildford Grange

The Guildford Grange project combats loneliness and creates friendship through arts, crafts and games for older people in a local residential home. Training is Tuesday 22nd October 6pm. Sign up in the Volunteering Office

 
Help children on the Autistic spectrum with computer activities!

As a Computer Club volunteer you will provide one-to-one support to children and their siblings. Gain teaching experience and lots of skills! Training Saturday 26th October or 9th November. Sign up in the Volunteering Office
