FoodCycle Volunteer

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Volunteers help collect and prepare a three course meal and meet, greet and eat with guests.

What skills do I need?

No specific skills or experience required. May appeal to those interested in nutrition, food waste, the environment, social sciences, community development.

What will I gain?

A wonderful opportunity to be part of an innovative local project with a national network and reputation. Develop your employability skills making an impact on the local community and having fun whilst doing it.

Training and support

Short online Food Safety training, ongoing coaching, volunteer meeting and socials. Lead volunteers / hub leaders volunteers will attend an annual funded training conference in London.

Time commitment

Minimum commitment is six months. Volunteers are welcome to get involved at any time of the year, we run 50 weeks of the year Weekly on Wednesdays between 9am-2.30pm; monthly on Thursdays (ususally the first Thursday of every month) 3pm-9pm
